1 to 300 in 10 months

For most of last week, I tried unsuccessfully to think of a topic for my blog that at least one person would find even remotely interesting. Thankfully, while checking my stats, I discovered I have finally had 300 hits on my blog, which made me think – what the hell has happened since I created my baby in January 2007. So many things have happened in the world over the last few months – Tony Blair resigned, England lost the Rugby World Cup, and the Spice Girls are touring again! And now for the bad things…

- John Cena lost his World Championship

- Brittany Spears’ performance on MTV

- Email chain letters are still going around, warning me I’m going to die at midnight if I don’t pass them on.

I could go on, but the memories of some of these events is too traumatic to think about. Anyway, it’s been a while since I’ve seen most people who read this blog (and some I’ve never met) so here’s what’s changed about me:

- I’m no longer living in England. I’m back home with my parents and my cat, saving money for my next big adventure.

- I’ve changed jobs twice since January. I’m currently at Central Queensland University, doing my best to attract students to this brilliant and student-focused place of learning.

- I’m now a blonde. After a couple of years of my natural colour, I got bored and decided to turn the clock back five years and once more become a blonde bombshell.

- Mills and Boon currently have two of my submissions to consider for publication.

- I still hate wearing a dress and only do so on very special occasions.

And now the things that haven’t changed (although I’m sure some people wish they would):

- I still love wrestling. That will never change. EVER. Especially now that I’m actually getting hits from my netbuddies at NZPWI.

- I’m still single. Again, something that probably won’t change in a hurry, because, as you can tell from some of my posts, boys are stupid.

- I still speak my mind and call a bitch a bitch.

- I’m still sarcastic. In fact, my soul was removed to make way for all my sarcasm.

These are just some of the changes that have happened in the past ten months. Perhaps I’ll list some more changes when I reach 500, until then, you’ll just have to like me the way I am.
